Chinese cupping
Chinese cupping dates back 3,000 years and is designed to strengthen the immune system and revitalise and rebalance the organs of the body.
It is also used to treat specific problems:
- joint pain
- muscle injury
- headaches
- infections
- bronchial congestion
Suction cups are placed at various points on the body and a vacuum is created to "draw up" the skin beneath the cup. This encourages the flow of Qi and blood in the area beneath the cup and unblocks stagnate Qi in the area.
Traditionally the vacuum was created by burning off the oxygen in special cups once made from horns or bamboo but now made from glass. A more modern approach to creating the vacuum is to use plastic cups and pump the air out – a better option for those not keen on fire!.
Cupping naturally draws blood to the external capillaries of the body and as a result minor weal or bruises may be left after a treatment. These tend to completely disappear after a few days .

Crystal healing
All things in the universe vibrate with energy – and each has its own rhythm. Illness, stress and energy pollution can disrupt the body's own energetic rhythm leading to dis-ease, illness and further stress.
In Crystal healing the unique vibrations of individual crystals are used to realign and adjust the vibrations in the clients individual energy field bringing the body back into balance.
Crystals may be placed on or near specific areas to address imbalances in the body's energy field.

Indian head massage
Indian Head Massage comes from old Ayurvedic techniques and is used to relieve stress and tension.
It also improves memory and promotes clear thinking and promotes strong, healthy hair.
It can bring fast relief to people who suffer from headaches, migraines, insomnia,
tinnitus, vertigo and
depression.
The nice thing is that, unlike other massages, you can remain fully-clothed and sitting upright in a low-back chair
and because there are several important acupressure points on the head you will feel the effects throughout the body.

Hot stone massage
Stone massage involves the application of water-heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body. The direct heat relaxes the muscles and allows more intense manipulation.
It can improve:
- Muscular aches, pains, sprains, and strains
- Poor circulation
- Rheumatic and arthritic conditions
- Back pain
- Stress, anxiety and tension
If muscular injury or inflammation is present the therapist may use cold marble stones to alternate heat with cold to put the circulation system through its paces to help the body detoxify and heal.

Metamorphic technique
Metamorphic practitioners believe that our thoughts and actions are a reflections of underlying energy patterns.
Where these patterns are not helpful, in terms of limiting beliefs or even physical stress and illness, a metamorphic practitioner will use a series of light touches on the spinal reflexes on the head, hands and feet to help you redirect and realign your energy patterns.
The technique is non-invasive and completely safe. It can be used alone or alongside conventional or complementary treatment.
Rather than a treatment for a specific condition a metamorphic session is a tool for personal growth and transformation. With the benefit that you don't have to disclose your thoughts or feelings. Because of this the practitioner cannot predict how you will feel after a session. You might feel refreshed and energetic or you might feel a little sad as you let go of old patterns and thoughts.
Changes can sometimes be felt instantly and other times the change is more gradual with people reporting that "they feel more like themselves".

Reflexology
Building on the observations of Dr William Fitzgerald, an American ear nose and throat surgeon, a massage therapist Eunice Ingham discovered that treating specific areas of the feet could have a relaxing and healing effect on the rest of the body.
In reflexology the body is divided into different zones which are mapped onto specific points, containing nerve endings, on the foot or hand. These are stimulated, by massage, to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and encourage the body's natural healing processes.
Reflexology can detect underlying problems including some dietary deficiencies. Treatments can take up to an hour or more and usually about six weekly sessions are recommended for the best results
The treatment itself involves light, but firm, massage to the soles and uppers of your feet an you. You will have to take your shoes and socks off!..
Don't worry if you have ticklish feet, the treatment is very precise and quite firm so the tickle factor is very low. The therapist may use talc but won't use oil so you don't have to worry about staining or slipping around when you put your socks back.
You should tell your therapist if you are pregnant, have diabetes or a heart problem.

Theta healing with DNA activation
We are what we think we are – our thoughts shape our lives and to an extent our physical wellbeing. Often our thoughts about ourselves are not helpful and may limit our ability to live healthy prosperous and harmonious lives.
Theta healing practitioners work at the theta brain wave to identify limiting beliefs and help you access your true patterns of health and vitality and potential.
After a session you may feel as though things are starting to come into focus and that you can feel more at peace with yourself and those around you.
